Technology
Network
Our UK based network
utilises fibre optic connections from BT, Telewest, Kingston
Communications & Fibrenet. Each building has fibre presented
from a minimum of two different telcos ensuring that no single
point of failure exists within our infrastructure. Throughout
our network, key equipment is duplicated. We use technologies
including BGP and hot standby routing protocol to ensure the
continuous availability of your web site even in the event of
the failure of one piece of equipment.
Server Hardware
Dziner Solutions use industrial strength web server equipment
for performance and reliability including Intel Pentium and
Sun Sparc based systems. All servers have dual processors, dual
100Mbit Ethernet adapters, a minimum of 1 gigabyte of memory
and a server grade mainboard and chipset. Storage is spread
across multiple Ultra 160 SCSI hard disk drives using Adaptec
RAID controllers.
Operating System
We run both UNIX and Windows based servers for maximum flexibility.
Our UNIX machines are FreeBSD based and our Windows systems
run Microsoft Windows Server 2003 operating system including
IIS6.
Software
Time honored software, with our own bespoke modifications and
improvements powers our servers. UNIX installations include
a web server derived from the popular Apache web server in conjunction
with the powerful mySQL database server and qmail mail server.
Whilst Windows systems benefit from the latest IIS6 web server.
Control Panel
Our industry leading web based control panel is the front end
to our powerful server administration and management system
allowing all aspects of our service with an unrivaled level
of automation, allowing us to run our business with great efficiency
and pass the cost savings on to our customers.
Account Management System
All accounts include a Client Account Management Area where
account users can manage their account products with access
to domain name, hosting plan account and extra feature expiry
dates. Renewals can be initiated from within the Client Account
Administration Area to ensure products remain valid and protected
from public registration due to expiry. Our Client Acount Administration
Area also sends out frequent renewal reminders prior to any
renewals becoming due offering you that extra peace of mind
of your service remaining operational.
Data Backup
Every server on our network runs a RAID based disk redundancy
solution, should any of the primary disk drives fail, a secondary
disk drive can take over the work load with no loss of availability.
In addition, data on our servers is backed up to our Storagetek
Timberwolf DLT tape library.
Security
All transaction processing
is conducted over a 128bit secured channel thereby ensuring
the integrity of data collection and storage.
